Description
This all-inclusive package will take you to a selection of the most important sites at which to view the work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh and his contemporaries, who together are known as the creators of the Glasgow Style. Explore the genius of Charles Rennie Mackintosh and his contemporaries, beginning with a reception and illustrated talk at the hotel on Thursday evening. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday there will be a full day tour by coach, with a qualified Blue Badge guide to the most important Mackintosh properties that are available in and around Glasgow. This includes the Glasgow School of Art, The Mackintosh House (Hunterian Art Gallery), The Mackintosh Church (headquarters of the CRM Society), House for an Art Lover, The Willow Tea Rooms and The Hill House in Helensburgh and not forgetting Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.
