DescriptionAkseli Gallen-Kallela studied art in Paris in the 1880s. This exhibition is about his friendship with Nordic artist colleagues in Paris. Known as bohemians, these artists flaunted the rules of convention and challenged the art establishment. The focus of the exhibition is on the friendship Gallen-Kallela and the Norwegian artist Carl Dørnberger (1864–1940). The artists of the exhibition are: Carl Dørnberger (Norway), Elin Danielson-Gambogi (Finland), Albert Engström (Sweden), Akseli Gallen-Kallela (Finland), Sven Jørgensen (Norway), Eero Järnefelt (Finland) and Emil Wikström (Finland).
