The exhibition "Art and cookie jar" is dedicated to the groundbreaking and exquisite packaging cans of the Bahlsen company from Hannover. Since the company was founded 125 years ago Bahlsen relies on exceptionally elaborate packaging, building on collaborations with eminent artists. From Historicism and Art Nouveau, Constructivism, Informal Art, Op Art and Pop Art, many art movements of the 20th century are reflected in the design of the cans.
The artistically designed packaging made for a recognition effect, which is often made even the mention of the company name redundant. In the exhibition, over 250 exhibits from a large private collection as well as from the corporate archive are shown. Media: Culture Radio RBB, Magazin Berlin.
