DescriptionGustav Klimt created the Beethoven Frieze for the XIVth exhibition of the Association of Visual Artist Vienna Secession in 1902, a monumental fresco which is widely considered to be among the chef d’oeuvres of Viennese Art Nouveau (Jugendstil).
