Exhibition From the Archive at the Jugendstilsenteret in Alesund – from 25 April to 14 September 2014

"FRA ARKIVET"

The Jugendstilsenteret (Art Nouveau Centre) in Ålesund has invited the artists Elsebeth Jørgensen (DK) and Helene Sommer (NO) to create new works of art based on the Art Nouveau Centre's collection and archives, as well as on Ålesund’s architecture, its surroundings and its many stories.

They have been encouraged to investigate the stories contained within this visual and historical material, and the new narratives and expressions that can be created with this in mind.

The exhibition is on the 2nd floor of the Art Nouveau Centre.
