Festival ARTONOV  in Brussels – from 9 to 14 October 2018

The ARTONOV Festival is inspired by the international movement of Art Nouveau, both for its philosophy as for its implementation.

It offers an opportunity to discover the city’s Art nouveau and Art déco heritage at a number of different venues. In some of the most beautiful houses in Brussels, established and emerging artists present a selection of music, dance, theatre, visual arts, and fashion.

For its fourth edition, the Festival ARTONOV is particularly interested in the architecture of the ritual and the ritual of artistic performance. From this theme begins a search for the structure itself, the fundamental essence of a performance and a reflection of how it is influenced by architecture.

This year Victor Horta will be honoured; in the context of Horta Inside Out, four constructions which he designed will be taken over by the artists.
