L'Art nouveau à Kyiv : de superbes découvertes

Jos Vandenbreeden, Professor emeritus at the Department of Architecture of Sint-Lucas Brussels. Within the framework of the a.s.b.l. Sint-Lukasarchief (now the CIVA Foundation), he has carried out various architectural and historical studies, awareness-raising and heritage rescue activities. As an architect, he specialises in the restoration and reconstruction of architectural heritage. He has published on Art Nouveau in Belgium (in collaboration with Françoise Aubry) and has devoted several other studies to Art Nouveau and Victor Horta. Between 1996 and 2003 he was a visiting professor at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kyiv, a city to which he returned several times to study Art Nouveau.
