NAi – Nederlands Architectuurinstituut - NETHERLANDS

The NAI was formed in 1988 by a merger of The Stichting Architectuurmuseum, the Nederlands Documentatiecentrum voor de Bouwkunst, and Stichting Wonen. These three organizations placed their collections in the care of the new institute. The NAI keeps and cares for roughly 800 archives and individual collections created by Dutch architects, urban designers, professional associations and training institutes. They date from the period 1800 – 1970. Our goal has always been to collect complete archives. Besides museum quality drawings, you also find sketches, preliminary designs, working drawings, business and personal correspondence, photographs, models, collections of press clippings, and published articles.
