Poppies at the Riga Art Nouveau center

In the mood of summer flower magic, the Museum of the Riga Municipal Association of Cultural Institutions “Riga Art Nouveau Center” invites to the exhibition “Poppies”. The variety of elegant and colorful flowers is depicted in both early 20th century glass, porcelain and textile applied art works, as well as in paintings of Latvian artists. The exhibition has been created in cooperation with several Latvian museums, in total more than 200 objects can be viewed.
The exhibition features the “Riga Art Nouveau Center” museum, the Riga Porcelain Museum, the Latvian National Art Museum, the “Riga Stock Exchange” art museum, the “Arsenals” exhibition halls, the Rundāle Castle Museum, the Latvian War Museum, the Pauls Stradiņš Medical History Museum, the Gulbene Region Museum of History and Art, G. Collections of the Elias Jelgava Museum of History and Art, the Jurmala City Museum, the Tukums Museum and several private collections. The exhibition is open until 3 October 2021.
