Festival Artonov in Brussels – From 3 to 10 october 2021

The ARTONOV Festival is inspired by the international Art Nouveau movement, both in its philosophy and practice, but also by Japanese sensory and multidisciplinary art. Its objective is to generate a convergence between the living arts, such as music, dance, theatre, fashion and the visual arts, by encouraging interdisciplinarity and creation in Art Nouveau, Art Deco and remarkable architectural venues in Brussels.
This 7th edition will be punctuated by performances that combine notes, dance, the stage and even the culinary arts, and at the same time will highlight the beauty of our heritage. This year, the theme of the festival will be IBASHO, a Japanese term for the place where one feels best, where one can be oneself… A poetic reflection on the role of art that will take a few detours through Brussels’ industrial sites for the first time.
