CIVA is the go-to place to learn everything about architecture, landscape, ecosystems, urban planning, and heritage in the Brussels-Capital Region. Its dynamic programme of temporary and ongoing activities invites all audiences to discover and explore these themes through CIVA’s collections, exhibitions, guided tours, book launches, film screenings, talks, and workshops for all ages.
The CIVA’s collections are divided into two distinct parts: on the one hand, the library which proposes a collection of 50,000 publications, old and new, on all aspects of architecture, ecosystems, urban planning, landscapes and much more.
On the other hand, CIVA is an archive centre housing a collection of over 500 works, including those of Akarova, Victor Bourgeois, René Braem, Victor Horta and René Pechère.
