RANN Summer School 2025: Hands-on Conservation of Art Nouveau Heritage, July – September 2025, Lviv
The Réseau Art Nouveau Network (RANN), in partnership with the LME “Heritage Bureau”, is pleased to announce the 2025 edition of its Summer School in Lviv, dedicated to hands-on conservation and restoration of Art Nouveau heritage.
This Summer School offers a unique opportunity for students and young professionals to gain practical experience in architectural conservation, combining theoretical learning with on-site restoration work on authentic Art Nouveau buildings. Under the supervision of experienced restorers from Ukraine and Poland, participants will engage directly with stucco decoration, wall paintings, and historic gates—contributing to the preservation of Lviv’s rich Secession heritage.

Further information on the 2026 continuation phase—dedicated to the restoration of ten Art Nouveau entrance gates in Lviv—is forthcoming.
The restoration stage will begin in late November 2025, in cooperation with a newly appointed tutor from Lviv Polytechnic National University. Preparatory work and site selection are currently in progress.
