The programme explores Art Nouveau heritage through:

- Archival research and the study of buildings
- Restoration projects and conservation practices
- Materials, colours and decorative surfaces
- Art Nouveau architecture and total works of art
- Heritage transmission and the interpretation of historic houses
- Sustainability and contemporary challenges
Participants will visit emblematic Art Nouveau sites, including Maison Comblen, Maison Rosenboom, Hôtel van Eetvelde, Maison Cauchie and the Horta Museum, while engaging with architects, historians, conservators and heritage specialists.
Organised within the Creative Europe project Art Nouveau as a New EUtopia, the Winter School focuses on the role of Art Nouveau heritage in encouraging new approaches to conservation, sustainability and cultural transmission.
The training is free of charge and will be taught mainly in French. It is intended for students and emerging professionals in architecture, art history, conservation-restoration, heritage studies and related disciplines.
